FarmShots Mobile App and Web Redesign Launch Q&A

 
In an effort to continue improving your digital ag experience, our satellite imagery service provider FarmShots™ will be launching an iOS and Android™ mobile app and a redesigned user platform on May 13, 2019. Here’s what you need to know:

How do I download the app?
Navigate to your app store on your mobile device and search for “Farmshots.” Download and install.
 
Which systems is the app compatible with?
It is compatible with all versions of iOS and Android.
 
What features have been launched in the mobile app?
  • Scouting
  • Notes 
Will the mobile app sync with my web app?
Notes will only sync with the new platform, https://new.farmshots.com/.

Stay tuned – as new features and improvements in the app are launched, we’ll send updates.

  
Redesigned user platform
 
When and how will I be able to access the new web application?
Beginning May 13, you will have access to the newly redesigned FarmShots software. Any information that you’ve loaded and saved in the existing platform will be saved in the new one without any additional action from you.
 
We’ll continue to share information on how to access the tool, the functionality available, orienting to the new design and how to access support.
 
How do I access the previous platform?
Simply go back to the previous URL: (https://app.farmshots.com). This link will remain active through Dec. 31, 2019.
 
What features have been launched in the new design?
  • Ability to save notes for easy record keeping
  • Notes sharing via email
  • Field descriptions
  • Enhanced prescription creation
  • Color scales
  • Histograms
  • Important imagery indices are now easier to find and use
  • Spanish language translation
  • Step-by-step walkthroughs for in-app help and guidance
